Phil Cleaveland

Phil Cleaveland serves as Market Leader for BankSouth in the metro Atlanta area. He draws on more than 15 years of banking experience to build and foster strong relationships with customers. As Atlanta Market Leader, Phil works diligently to ensure each customer receives exceptional service and financial solutions tailored to their needs. He leads a team of experienced bankers and lenders who serve both consumer and commercial banking and lending needs.

Phil and his team also work very closely with BankSouth Mortgage to provide ancillary products customers may need during their homebuying experience such as Bridge Loans, HELOCs, Lot Loans, and Construction Loans – as well as checking and saving products.

Phil has lived in the Atlanta area for over 15 years and is a graduate of Furman University with a degree in Business Administration.In addition, Phil sits on the Small Business Credit Review Committee for Atlanta Development Authority’s Invest Atlanta program. He is a graduate of North Fulton’s Leadership program and is a current student at Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. Phil resides in the Buckhead area with his wife of more than 15 years and 8-year-old daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, coaching youth soccer, watching football, and is highly involved in children and family ministries at his church.
